It is not too early to start
thinking about scheduling your seasonal flu shot! The vaccine protects
against H1N1 as well as the seasonal influenza strains this year. We
will have available both the flumist and the injectable vaccine. All
Children ages 6 months to age 2 must receive the injectable form of
the vaccine. Chldren over age 2 may receive the flumist unless they
have wheezing illnesses or a chronic medical condition. Parents and
caregivers are welcome to receive their vaccine from our office as
well.
*Children with an egg allergy cannot receive an influenza vaccine.
